Living in Central Texas, we saw firsthand how tourism boards, businesses and people from various cities were using city abbreviations ending in TX. For example, El Paso (EPTX) has 806K hashtag shares and Fort Worth (FWTX) has 121K on Instagram—yet apparel featuring these city abbreviations is scarce or non-existent.
